It’s Christmas!

I thought I would treat you to something beautiful for Christmas, so I took a trip to my favorite nursery to see what creative things they were doing for the holidays. As usual, I left with a couple of new ornaments for the tree, and several photos. Feast your eyes on the snowy scene in the header. It’s constructed in an old baby’s crib and it changes with the seasons.

How about this display of white birch, white phalaenopsis, red poinsettias and green topiary?

This shed is charming. I love the small lighted tree just inside.

There were several decorated trees. I loved this one with all the animal ornaments. I bought a dachshund and a piglet.

To my readers, wherever you are in the world, I wish you the happiest of holidays. Thanks for another great year.

Please pray for snow.

The header is fantastic, but I do love that shed! I’d love one of those in my yard. I’ll be holding good thoughts that Christmas will greet you with snow, dirtynailz. Best wishes for a lovely holdiay.

Likewise, I wish you and your family a very merry (and white) Christmas, and all the best for the new year.
    Sincerely. Mike

(and as an aside, I saw more geese heading south this morning. Strange??)

As I see skiing mentioned below, (FYI) I passed through St. Sauveur this afternoon. They are skiing but there was only 2 inches of snow in my driveway. Some of the higher mountains in New England should have skiing too.

Merry Christmas! We had a squall of snow here this morning and I thought of you DN! Certainly not enough to ski in but perhaps a promise of what’s to come!

Merry (belated) Christmas! Hope it was a good one for you. It certainly wasn’t white around here; absolutely no snow, not even a speck. But we spent a couple of days in Montreal and their Christmas was white, which made up for it.

Yes, my sister told me they have about 6 inches of snow there – just enough for a white Christmas. Not so fortunate here, and I find it so un-Christmasy. Merry Christmas to you, Martha!
